YOGA FOR PEOPLE WITH ASTHMA AND BRONCHITIS

Asthma and Bronchitis are certain ailments that can actually make a person very disturbed .  Though  there area great lot of medications that are there , I think that  people with Asthma and Bronchitis must also think about doing Yoga. Yoga does a great lot of good to people with Asthma and Bronchitis . In this article I would like to talk about the various Yoga exercises and poses that  can do a great lot of good to the people who have Asthma and Bronchitis .People with these ailments must actually think about taking up these exercises . The Yoga exercise that a person with  Asthma and Bronchitis must do are as follows -

EASY POSE (SUKHASANA)

The Easy pose or Sukhasana is done after doing the Corpse pose . This is a meditative pose .The Easy pose actually straightens the spine , slows down metabolism , promotes inner tranquility and keeps the mind still .

SHOULDER LIFTS-

Many people suffer from things like stiffness , bad posture , and tension headaches . This is caused by the tension that are there in their necks and shoulders .Yoga makes a person ease tension , increase flexibility , and tone the muscles . Shoulder lifts makes a person actually be more flexible , and release the stiffness that are there in a person .

HALF SPINAL TWIST-(ARDHA MATSYENDRASANA)

This half Spinal twist makes the spine strong and long . Aaprt from just that this Half Spinal Twist benefits the liver , kidneys as well as the adrenal glands .

WIND RELIEVING POSE -(PAVANAMUKTASANA)

The Sanskrit word ‘Pavana’ which means the air or the  wind and the word ‘Mukta’ which means freedom or release , fornm the word Pavanamuktasana. This Pavanamuktasana works for the digestive system . It releases the excess gas that are formed in the stomach .

CORPSE POSE -(SAVASANA)

The Corpse pose is  a relaxation pose .This pose is done in between the other poses or after the poses .This Corpse pose is actually very difficult to do .It might lok very simple but it is actually very difficult to do .

ANULOMA VILOMA-

The Anuloma Viloma or the  Alternative Nostril Breathing Technique is a very great thing to do for people who are have Asthma or Bronchitis . This is done by inhaling from one nostril, keep the breath for certain time andthen exhale it through the other nostril .

RELAXATION POSE-

The poses  or  the asanas are followed by a relaxation pose . After the poses it is suggested that a person does this relaxation pose . It will do really a very great lot of good to the people .

These are some of the Yoga poses that can actually make a person who has Asthma and Bronchitis feel much better .Apart from the things that a person is doing to feel better these Yoga poses must be given importance . It will do them a great lot of good .    But I would like to add here that it is important that a person knows how exactly to do it , before doing them .It will do them a great lot of good . So people who have these things ;like Asthma and Bronchitis , you must actually do these Yoga poses . It will bring a great lot of benefits to you .
